Activity One, Exercise B Handout Exercise– "Learning about Africa"

Have students work in small groups to come up with answers. Each student should record the group's answers on their handout and file it in their Africa Journal. This handout addresses the following questions:

  1. What do you know about Africa with respect to history, culture, and current events?
  2. What religion are most people in Africa? (choose from name-symbols)
  3. How many countries are in Africa? (map- count) How many can you name?
