Now that we know what we want to learn, let’s see if we can come up with answers to some of these questions on our own.

Work in a small group to answer the questions below. Each of you should record your group's answers on your own handouts and file it in your Exploring Africa Journal.

The handouts address the following questions:

  1. What do you know about Africa with respect to history, culture, and current events?
  2. What religion are most people in Africa? (choose from name-symbols)
  3. How many countries are in Africa? (map- count) How many can you name?
